Pidley Mountain Rescue Team

The Pidley Mountain Rescue Team Charity was originally founded over 30 years ago, but after a break was revived in 1999 by Gil Boyd.  We are a local charity which raises around £15,000 each year to help disabled children and grown-ups living Huntingdonshire.  We do this by providing funding for specialised equipment or treatment which will improve their quality of life and which they would otherwise be unable to afford themselves or obtain from the NHS or other public funds.  Over the past 10 years we have supported more than 130 individuals in this way.

Every penny we raise goes straight to the people we help.

Our Mission

To help people of all ages living in the old County of Huntingdonshire, who suffer a disability or longstanding illness, to obtain a particular piece of specialised equipment which will improve the quality of their lives and which they are unable to obtain through public funds and have difficulty affording themselves.
