Pidley International Teddy Bear Freefall Completion 2010

Join us on Saturday 4th September at Rookery Farm near Pidley for the annual Pidley International Teddy Bear Freefall Competition.  From 10am there will be a host of fun family events, including the launch of ten teddy bears from the skies overhead (thanks to Cambridge Aero Club for its support), sponsored by local companies and organisations, each hoping to land nearest the target and win.

In a frenzy of activity the bears are training for this years parachute jump which promises to be better than ever

The Teddy Bears are are now in training for this years Parachute Jump from a live aeroplane.  As you can see from the photograph taken at a secret location, the practice is not going too well but be assured that all will be fine for the big day.

Somersham 1st Brownie Pack will be providing stretch bearer services in case of a teddy bear emergency. 2331 Squadron St Ives Air Training Corp will also be helping with the proceedings. Please bring your own teddy bears as supporters and to take part in the Best Dressed Teddy Bear competition. We will also be running the Pidley Mountain Rescue Team Christmas Card competition looking for the best design for our 2010 Christmas Card.
